Another fruit I tried. It’s a kind of lychee, but “hairier” and the pit is bigger and the pulp is sourer and less soft. In summary, it’s not a good fruit. There, I said it.
I don’t remember the name of it.
Honey-Caramel Apples & Pumpkin Spice Caramels
Remember last year, when Max and I tried to make Gourmet’s red wine caramel apples - and failed miserably? I’m redeeming myself this Halloween with an awesome, simple, relatively healthy recipe for caramel apples. A recipe that works this time.
You can then use any leftover caramel - or just make up a second batch - to create these spicy and delicious pumpkin pie spice caramels. Wrap ‘em up and take ‘em to a party, everyone’ll love you.
Which one’s your favorite?
These are my roasted pears of tonight. I decided to try out a recipe and it works like magic. It’s so easy and all the house smells like cinnamon during the process. Delightful.
If you’re ever going to try them, please add a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream on the side!
The recipe? Check out the next post :)

Edit: Best part of it was seeing my little brother Lucas’s face eating and enjoying the caramelized pears and asking for more.
