Fresh batch of pickled radishes for Sunday’s barbecue (Taken with Instagram)
1/2 lb radishes, sliced thin 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup water 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp sea salt 1/4 white onion, sliced 1/4 tsp peppercorns, cracked 1 clove garlic 2 sprigs fresh dill
Bring vinegar, water, sugar and salt to a boil. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat, add peppercorns and garlic. Layer radishes with onion and dill in pint canning jar, pour liquid over, seal and refrigerate.
